This Autumn, Skye’s Kinloch Lodge launches an exclusive new experience designed for guests seeking deeper, more immersive connections with Scotland’s wild landscapes. In partnership with celebrated photographer Andrew Tobin, author of Skye at Night,, the Skye Photography Retreat invites guests to explore Skye’s atmospheric beauty through a bespoke, one-to-one photographic tutorial. 

Blending Kinloch’s famous hospitality with artistic exploration, the retreat pairs Kinloch Lodge’s historic charm, roaring fires, and delicious food with Tobin’s intimate knowledge of the island. Guests will be guided to off-the-beaten-path locations—far beyond the typical Instagram hotspots—capturing haunting ruins to mirror-like lochs under star-drenched skies. Each itinerary is tailored to the client’s interests, technical ability, the weather or position of the Milky Way!

Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a curious beginner, this is a rare chance to connect deeply with the landscape—and with your creative self.
