While nature isn’t an on-demand service, being led by Grace Yoxon, Helen Stephenson or Ben Yoxon- who all have more than 25 years’ experience of studying and watching otters on the Isle of Skye -and the fact that these otters are not nocturnal, means the odds are in guests’ favour.
Without straying too far from Kinloch, you will spend a full day with these local experts, immersed in nature and breathtaking scenery, and while the main objective is to see these furry favourites, you will see a wide selection of Skye’s wildlife. Even if the otters remain elusive, you’ll learn about them, including how to spot the signs that they’re nearby and track them in the wild, without disturbing them.
