Golden Anniversary Package

Join us in 2022 as we celebrate Kinloch Lodge’s 50th anniversary. On this new Golden Anniversary package, guests will have a taste of all the aspects that make Kinloch such a special place, from time spent in the great outdoors that surrounds our hotel, searching for Skye’s wildlife, to learning more about our ethos for local food and drink, visiting a superb supplier and picking the brains of our head chef.

Itinerary: 

Day One

Arrive in the evening and be welcomed into the Drawing Room with a special Golden Cocktail from Bar Manager, Dan, before enjoying a three-course dinner using the finest local and homegrown produce.

Day Two

The day begins in the company of the hotel’s ghillie, Mitch Partridge, who has an unrivalled knowledge of Skye’s wild places and the wildlife that live there. Guests will join Mitch for a guided wildlife walk, hoping to spot the soaring forms of golden eagles or otters and porpoises in the Loch. Mitch will also instruct guests in bushcraft skills.

During the afternoon, guests can stroll around Kinloch’s grounds or explore the nearby Armadale Castle, the ancestral home of Clan Donald.

Dinner.

Day Three

In the morning head to the new Torabhaig Distillery further down the Sleat Peninsula, Skye’s newest distillery. Enjoy a guided tour of the building, learning about its history before a tutored tasting of their first releases.

In the afternoon the food-focus continues, with a foraging session with Kinloch’s head chef Jordan Webb. Jordan takes guests to the Loch’s foreshore searching out sea herbs and sea vegetables before a tour of the hotel’s polytunnels.

Day Four

After a final full Scottish breakfast, guests depart.

Kinloch Lodge offers a Golden Anniversary package from £816pp, prices are based on two people sharing a cosy double, will vary based on season. Single supplement will apply. The package includes three nights’ half-board accommodation in a cosy double, welcome cocktail on arrival, Golden Eagle and wildlife walk, shoreline foraging, tour of Torabhaig Distillery, walk around Clan Donald lands and 50 Year Kinloch Cookbook.
