As the days get shorter and skies darker, we at Kinloch Lodge know that winter Sundays are made for long walks, hearty meals, a dram and a very deep sleep. That’s why we’re delighted to announce the return of our Sunday Lunch Sleepovers.
Starting 1 November, we invite you to come for lunch and stay the night, enjoying all that our award-winning Highland hospitality has on offer. We’ve even extended our Sunday Lunch dining from Midday until 4.30pm, so you can truly make the most of your weekend.
Arrive early Sunday afternoon and work up an appetite with a brisk walk on the Kinloch hill, taking in the breath-taking views across the Sound of Sleat. Once you’re back at Kinloch, sit back and savour traditional Sunday roast classics with an Isle of Skye twist: think langoustines fresh from neighbouring Lochalsh and crispy Portree squid salad, followed by roast haunch of Skye venison with all the trimmings, and, if you have any room left, spiced rice pudding, a dark chocolate torte, or another one of our heavenly desserts.
Once lunch is done, spend the afternoon at your leisure –curled up by the fireplace with a book in one of our drawing rooms, or partaking of a languorous afternoon nap in your bedroom with views overlooking Loch na Dal or the Sound of Sleat. As night beckons, finish your day with a light supper and dram of Talisker, perhaps some Kinloch s’mores by our outdoor firepit before drifting off to sleep.
On Monday morning, unplug for just a bit longer and tuck into our breakfast before you head back to your real life.
Our Sunday Lunch Sleepover Package, which includes a dram of whisky on arrival, a three-course Sunday lunch, light supper & dram, breakfast and your bedroom for the evening starts at £195 per person, based on 2 people sharing. Advance booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
