Digital Detox Tweet Retreat

Get Mindful with Kinloch’s New Radical Digitox Escape

It might sound like a radical way to start a retreat but watching our receptionist lock away your mobile phone – and other digital devices– is essential for making the most of the tech-free-pleasures of this new Digital Detox Break.

Checked into for for two nights, and with gadgets stored in a safe place, you'll be given a goodie-bag to ease your digital detachment. A painting set should be well-used given our location in one of the UK’s most scenic spots; Inspirational thoughts or perhaps poetry roused by a stroll around our grounds and tranquil Loch Na Dal will find a home in a pretty-as-can-be Kinloch notebook; After dark, a Sudoku book and pack of cards will aid further relaxation.

Of course, a detox isn’t complete without a spot of pampering and this new retreat includes a Botanical Back Massage – perfect for easing tech-neck and social media stoop. Conceived for comfort and relaxation, Kinloch’s individually designed rooms and suites, with extra-large beds and generous bathrooms – think roll tops with a view – are supplied with gorgeous L’Occitane toiletries for extra indulgence.

Freed from emails, social media and unable to snap-what-you-see, our team are convinced that your senses will be more available to enjoy the delights on offer, whether that be the our spoiling dinner (we did say digital detox), the award-winning breakfasts or the simple pleasure of curling up in front of a roaring fire, with a good book from our library.

To round off the evenings you can choose a board game in the hotel’s cosy bar, while trying a whisky or two from its huge selection.
