Walking
Skye boasts some of the finest and breathtaking rambles in Europe. At Kinloch we provide you with detailed maps of many walks throughout the stunning island and can advise on walks for all abilities.

Wild Walks
Why not try a wild walks with ex-Royal Marine Mitchell Partridge. These can range from a gentle coastal walk to more challenging scrambles with some bush craft and survival skills included. Stalking and Shooting
Deer stalking can be arranged on the stunning Clan Donald Estate, 10 miles south of Kinloch during the months of August, September and October.  We can also arrange shooting during the months of November, December and January when you can expect to shoot woodcock and snipe on the gorgeous local estate.

Climbing
We can recommend a couple of very experienced climbers to take you into the Cuillins - Skye's stunning mountain range.

Arts, craft & galleries
There is a plethora of superb art galleries dotted across Skye to suit all tastes and pockets.

Bays & Beaches
With our local knowledge we can point you towards the most beautiful and secluded beaches throughout Skye.

Castles and museums
Clan Donald Skye  in the South of Skye, has a very informative museum, super restaurant and giftshop. New for 2013 is Armadale Activities in the stunning gardems of Armadale Castle led by Matt Harrison offering a fantastic range of outdoor activity including archery, air rifle shooting, tomahawk throwing and much more. Dunvegan Castle to the north of Skye offers seal boat trips and is very near the stunning coral beach.

Talisker whisky distillery
Tours and tastings can be arranged at this most famous distillery.

Fishing
If you're one for the lochs and rivers, we can recommend ghillies for both salmon and brown trout fishing.

Boat trips
We have a number of people who are happy to take guests on their private fast boat around the island. Otherwise, there are more gentle trips up Loch Coruisk taking in the wonderful wildlife and sealife, and Plockton for Calum's famous seal trips.

Golf
Skye has 2 superb golf courses only a short distance way from Kinloch Lodge.

Cycling and mountain biking
If you'd like to explore the surrounding area on 2 wheels, road and mountain bikes can be hired for the day and dropped at the hotel.
